Faun Aleen Tranbarger, 86, passed away at 3:15 a.m. on Friday, January 6th, 2012. Faun Aleen was
born May 18th, 1925 to James and Versa Pettey. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister Frances Bryan. She is survived by her devoted husband of 61 years, John Ray; beloved sister Katheryn Menefee of Vandalia, Mo; loving sons, Jim (Geneva), John D. (Linda), Phillip (Theresa), Mark (Ginny), and Joe (Cheyenne); 13 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and an abundance of dear friends. Visitation will be held Monday, Jan. 9th from 5:00 - 7:30 p.m. at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Jan 10th at 1:00 pm at Hillcrest Presbyterian Church 818 E Norton Rd. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hillcrest Presbyterian Church Youth Group Summer Camp Scholarship Fund, 818 East Norton, Springfield, Mo. 65803.
