This mission team shall have the responsibility of the nurture of the congregation through the education programs of the church.  It will

• Meet monthly
• Make recommendations to the Session concerning the recruitment, appointment, enlistment, training, and supervision of the leadership in the educational program of the church.
• Enlist, train and supervise those appointed by the Session to positions in the educational program
• Make recommendations to the Session concerning the programs, activities, curriculum, resources, equipment, etc., required for an effective educational program
• Seek to provide and organize opportunities in the life of the congregation to more fully learn the elements of the faith through
  • Sunday School
  • Youth Program
  • Special study classes such as Vacation Bible School, Bible Study Groups, Confirmation Classes, New Members Classes, and other opportunities
  • Seek to provide and organize opportunities in the life of the congregation to more fully learn the elements of the faith through
• Recommend to the Session and Annual Christian Education budget and maintain oversight and records of expenditures of Christian Education funds.
• Have the responsibility of promoting and cooperating with the Presbytery and other churches in strengthening the educational program of the church
